Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist at Bizzy, you’ll play a critical role in shaping our data-driven strategy and implementing AI-driven features. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Intelligent Sales Agent: As a key member of our team, you’ll be the driving force behind our intelligent sales agent. Your role involves developing and implementing advanced NLP techniques to analyze and process textual data, significantly boosting the performance and sophistication of our sales agent.
  • From MVP to feature: Demonstrate the business value of your work by building Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and transitioning them into production-ready solutions that have a direct impact on our operations.
  • Stay Current: Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements and apply this knowledge to your work. Keep Bizzy at the forefront of data science innovation.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with our engineering and business teams to implement data-driven solutions, ensuring that your findings translate into real-world impact.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:

  • Educational Background: Hold a Master of Science degree in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent field, or have equivalent professional experience.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to tackling complex challenges.
  • Technical Skills: Possess strong technical skills and have an excellent understanding of data analysis tools and machine learning techniques (experience with NLP and/or recommender systems is a big plus).
  • Programming Proficiency: Fluent in Python, (My)SQL, and Git. Comfortable working with these tools to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.
  • Communication: Highly communicative, capable of articulating the business value of your work to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication within our international team.
