Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer at Bizzy, you will be at the heart of our data-driven operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Data Collection: Expand and enhance our data collection systems to gather valuable insights. Create robust pipelines for data ingestion from various sources.
- Data Quality: Maintain and improve data quality, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our datasets. Implement data cleansing and validation processes.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our data science and engineering teams, understanding their data requirements, and providing the necessary support and infrastructure.
- Scalable Infrastructure: Design and implement robust infrastructure capable of handling large volumes of data efficiently. Optimize data storage and processing for performance.
- Industry Trends: Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering. Apply relevant advancements to enhance our data operations.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:
- Educational Background: Hold a Master of Science degree in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent field, or have equivalent professional experience.
- Self-Starter: You are a self-starter who takes ownership of your work. Your attention to detail and thoroughness are exceptional.
- Collaborative: You are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team. You thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Continuous Learner: You have a keen interest in technology and data and are driven to continually learn and develop your skills in the ever-evolving field of data engineering.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English is a must for effective communication within our international team.
- Technical Skills: You have strong proficiency in (My)SQL and Git, and you are knowledgeable about design patterns and data structures.
