Futureproofed is a carbon accounting start-up that is on a mission to help cities & businesses reduce their carbon emissions and become more sustainable. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and driven Account Executive to join our growing team.
As an AE at Futureproofed, you will be responsible for advising businesses on a coherent carbon accounting strategy, and for closing new B2B-customers by giving tailored product demonstrations of the platform. You’ll speak with sustainability officers & CFOs in the mid-segment & corporate market on a daily basis. By understanding their sustainability needs & objectives and by demonstrating the value of the platform, you will help them to implement coherent carbon reduction strategies.
- You’ll collaborate with our growth marketing team and will help with the setup of tailored ABM-campaigns & the sourcing of relevant target accounts.
- You’ll spend quite some time in virtual meetings with qualified B2B-prospects on a journey towards net-zero. Analysing the business case and diagnosing their sustainability pains will be your focus.
- You will work closely together with your sales colleagues & our carbon experts
- You will efficiently move leads through our sales funnel and will maintain accurate records and tracking progress in our CRM-system.
- Master’s degree or higher.
- At least four years of experience B2B-technology sales or a related field.
- You enjoy working in a fast-paced start-up environment and get job satisfaction out of helping and advising B2B-customers in devising a proper sustainability strategy.
- Strong communication skills, and comfortable making calls & sending emails to potential clients.
- Proactive, persistent, and with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- A background in sustainability or carbon accounting is a plus, but not required. However, you are passionate about sustainability and are looking for an opportunity to make a positive impact in the world.
