The Finance department at Deliverect is a team of experts dedicated to empowering Deliverect to financial excellence. We achieve this by optimising financial processes, safeguarding financial health, and efficiently allocating resources to support growth. Your Impact – How will you contribute to our mission
As an Accounts Payable Coordinator in our Finance department, your mission is to ensure the seamless operation of the Accounts Payable function, contributing to Deliverect’s overarching goals. Your role is pivotal in maintaining financial compliance, controlling costs, and collaborating with other teams to support the company’s mission.
A Typical Day 
Accounts Payable Management: Oversee the Accounts Payable function, including timely settlement of supplier/purchase invoices.
Supplier Accounts: Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger.
Reconciliation: Perform supplier statement reconciliations and reconcile credit card statements.
Invoice Approval: Ensure that all invoices receive the necessary and appropriate approvals.
AP Workflow: Manage the Accounts Payable workflow, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Month-End Assistance: Assist the Finance Manager with the month-end process and management reporting.
Compliance: Responsibility for ensuring that all Accounts Payable activities and processes comply with standards, policies, instructions, and local legislation.
Your Expertise 
Collaboration and Interaction: Work collaboratively with internal colleagues in the Finance department and interact with external suppliers. Effective written and verbal communication is essential for successful collaboration.
Driving Innovation and Growth: Although this role primarily focuses on operational efficiency and compliance, your contribution indirectly supports innovation and growth by maintaining the financial health of the business.
Global and Regional Impact: While the role primarily influences internal operations, its effect on financial compliance and cost control contributes to Deliverect’s global success.
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
– Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
– 1-3 years of experience as a General Ledger (GL) or statutory Accountant.
– Effective written and verbal communication skills.
– Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, ensuring the smooth operation of the Accounts Payable function.
– Strong team player, fostering collaboration.
