DevOps Engineer

Remote location, Poland preferred

Start Date: ASAP
B2B contract  with a range of  60K-75K with 25 days paid vacation

Patryk will be your main DevOps sparring partner but you’ll interact with Developers, Product Managers, Quality Assurance and customer support. 

LetsBuild is looking for a brilliant, dedicated DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team.


Your mission (should you choose to accept it!)

You’ll work in a fast-evolving scale up, your role will require flexibility and will touch upon different areas. Regardless of the tasks assigned to you, you will be able to influence the direction you want to take.

Your tasks will include:

  • Engaging in the whole lifecycle of the platform, from the design of the components to their operation and maintenance

  • Optimizing and automating the platform deployment, CI/CD process

  • Using and managing tools for measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health

  • Implementing and spreading the DevOps culture 

Job requirements

What will you bring to the table?

  • Solid experience in Linux troubleshooting, tuning, profiling, and monitoring

  • Solid understanding of network protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, firewalls, VLANs, DNS.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, GitHub Workflows)

  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus)

  • Skills in any of the following programming languages: Python or Bash/Shell or Golang

  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code technologies (e.g., Cloudformation, Terraform, CDKs)

  • Experience with Terraform, Helm, Docker and Kubernetes (Running and managing production clusters is a strong plus )

  • Understanding of load balancing and reverse proxying techniques.

  • Strong understanding of IaaS and PaaS services offered on cloud platforms and understanding of how to use them together to build complex solutions (AWS preferred, Azure or GCP optional)

  • Strong understanding of cloud-based application architecture, microservice containerization using native cloud services

  • Strong understanding of scale and performance impact of Infrastructure design

Big plus:

  • Experience designing large-scale distributed systems

  • Experience designing and developing software-oriented systems or network automation

  • Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks

  • Familiarity with databases (e.g., SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
