We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR & Office Assistant to join our team. As an HR & Office Assistant at Qargo, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support across various HR and office functions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of payroll, fleet management, onboarding, team-building activities, office management, and other administrative tasks. Additionally, during busy periods, you may also assist with recruitment activities.

What we’re looking for
✅ Preferably 2+ years of experience in HR and payroll administration
✅ Fluent in Dutch and English.
✅ Highly organized and detail-oriented.
✅ A genuine passion for working with people and a strong desire to support and assist employees.
✅ Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and willingness to take on new challenges.
✅ Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
In this role, you’ll…
✅ Manage overall office administration, including facility and equipment management, as well as supplies and day-to-day operations.
✅ Coordinate the monthly payroll & all payroll related activities.
✅ Coordinate the company’s fleet.
✅ Assist with the onboarding process for new employees.
✅ Assist in recruitment activities during peak periods.
✅ Stay up to date with employment laws and regulations, ensuring HR practices comply with legal requirements.
✅ Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
✅ Assist in the organization of events, team-building activities, and conferences during busy periods.
✅ Act as a first point of contact for employees.
