Job description

The role

We are looking for an experienced, self-driven, and highly motivated Key Account Manager to generate business and build lasting relationships with one of our biggest Smart S&D customers. You will work closely with Sales including the Customer Success team, Product, and Operations. More concretely, you will be:

  • Developing and sustaining solid and trusting relationships with key clients to ensure they remain happy with our solution.

  • Developing a thorough understanding of key clients’ needs and requirements to continuously propose solutions that meet their objectives

  • Communicating and collaborating with the sales, product, and operations departments to ensure that key clients’ needs are met.

  • Setting a strategic direction for the account you are responsible for and setting up an account plan to deliver sales forecast, revenue, and margin targets.

  • Forecasting and tracking client account metrics (account progress, goals, budgets, etc.)

Requirements

Your must-haves:

  • Ability to maneuver in large corporate environments. Previous experience with a large group and its subsidiaries in Africa is a plus.

  • Previous commercial experience with telecommunications is a plus.

  • Previous experience with start-ups or fast-growing companies; you thrive in a fast-changing environment.

  • Strong team player; proactive and energetic.

  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written conversation in French and English. Portuguese is a plus. You are able to influence C-level executives.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability in problem solving and negotiation

  • Interest in analytics and big data solutions

  • Based in Brussels, Belgium or Casablanca, Morocco.
