We are hiring a Learning & Development Officer, located in Brussels, to support our HR Services Department. 

HR Services is responsible for all HR activities from the start of new employees, their personal development to their exit. And everything in between. Learning and development is one of the pillars in the team.

Your Mission

As Learning & Development officer, you are the first point of contact for managers and employees on all training and development matters. You not only help them find the right training, you also manage training budgets and help develop general training and (online) training materials. We organise a proper onboarding for our newcomers. Every month, we welcome our newcomers to Brussels for a 2.5-day induction programme, the so-called: Get-In-Shape Days. You take care of the organisation and are the host during these days, together with someone from the team. You report direct to the head of HR Services.

Your main responsibilities

  • Organising and taking care of the general onboarding of our new colleagues
  • Ensuring the timing and scheduling of (mandatory) training sessions
  • Being point of contact for all questions about trainings
  • Manage our internal online learning platform
  • Making overviews of progress , costs and training results and explaining them to managers, identifying deviations in lead time and quality.

  • Bachelor’s level of work and thinking
  • Couple of years proven work experience in learning and development, ideally in an international and tech company
  • You’re fluent in English. Dutch and French are a plus
  • You have a passion for learning & developing people

  • You have excellent communication skills
  • Organising and planning is a piece of cake for you
  • You have a lot of energy and are solution driven
