About the role

As a People Business Partner at Unbox, you will play a key role in managing People Operations as well as aligning them with our Talent strategy. You will partner strategically with leadership to guide, shape, and nurture our organisation’s culture.

You will be in charge of talent acquisition & employer branding, onboarding, culture, compensation, talent monitoring, retention, and people growth.

We’re looking for someone hands-on with a strategic mindset that can build and implement our people processes as we move into the next stage of high growth.

What you’ll do
  • Be the ambassador and messenger of our company culture throughout the organization
  • Collaborate to integrate our core values into processes, projects, and decision-making
  • Partner with department heads and senior management to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment and selection strategies to attract and retain top talent
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting new hire orientations and exit interviews
  • Reporting on People metrics, as required, and presenting them to the leadership
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR, and proactively recommend improvements to HR programs and processes
About you
  • You have +2 years of experience in a similar role in a fast-growing software company
  • Entrepreneurial and hands-on mindset – preferably proven in a startup environment
  • Experience working with international teams over different time zones is a must
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills with a keen ability to build relationships on all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated success in implementing People & Culture initiatives for growth while maintaining company culture and employee engagement
  • You are fluent in English, any other language skills are considered a big plus
  • Knowledge of D&I, and GDPR are considered a plus
