Reason for the role:
Due to our fast-growing team in our Dubai office we are seeking a People Experience Generalist. As part of the Global HR Team, you will be tasked with supporting the full employee life cycle, building relationships with stakeholders, supporting change management and driving the company culture within the team.
As the go to person in the office. The role will also require you to manage office issues, keeping employee files on track, manage company policies and use your knowledge of Dubai labour legislation.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Work alongside the People Team to support with key HR priorities on a local and global scale
- Manage employee onboarding and off boarding in line with local regulations
- Drive the company culture
- Be highly involved in on-site office management
- Promote the company’s reputation as “the irresistible employer of choice”
- Invest in stakeholder management – be the connection
- Build processes & procedures to gain efficiency
- Work closely with the general manager on people topics and employee relations
- Experience with performing Office management functions for the on-site office, this includes events organization and making sure everything runs smoothly
- Ability to manage, prioritize and respond to a high volume of queries and requests for HR administration and facilities
- Advise in a calm and organized manner
- Capable of managing your own role in a flat and matrix organisation
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in HR Operations and Support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous startup/scale up experience
- Proficiency in English is an absolute must. Arabic is a plus.
- Confident and capable with the ability to engage with stakeholders globally
- Hands-on experience with Dubai labour law and willingness to learn other legislations
- Experience managing employee onboarding and off boarding processes
- Basic knowledge of payroll and social security across UAE
- Experience with performing Office management functions for the on-site office, this includes events organization and making sure everything runs smoothly
- Ability to manage, prioritize and respond to a high volume of queries and requests for HR administration and facilities
- Calm and organized demeanour
- Capable of working autonomously in a flat and matrix organisation
