Pre-Sales Engineer @ Robovision in Gent

As pre-sales engineer you help to convince our Customers or our Sales Partners that their dreams are achievable with Robovision technology and algorithms. You are a key AI translator that makes the link between the Customer and/or Partner, Sales, and Solution Delivery. Making big ideas concrete gives you energy and with a ‘getting things done’ mentality you navigate your way to the right solution with the resources at your disposal.

What will you do?

• Customer intake to gather all the necessary functional and non-functional information required to design a solution proposal.

• Help with functional and technical content questions about our platform and solutions

• Support Sales with technical product demonstrations

• Perform fit-gap analysis with respect to our platform to identify the work that needs to be done to create a working solution for the customer

• Design a solution proposal with support from Solution Architect, Data Scientists and Software Architect

• Support Sales and Project Management with drafting Customer Agreements and Statements of Work

• Early Prototyping: verify if we can get a first result based on a customer dataset and indicate what the steps could be to improve the results during implementation

• Share recurring customer requirements with Product Management in order to improve our future platform roadmap

• Experience with or basic knowledge of AI related technologies is a strong plus (like Tensorflow, Pytorch, Python, Jupyter Notebook)

• Experience in or affinity with IT, Computer Vision and software development (concepts such as API’s and SDK’s) is a strong plus.

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
