Your mission
As our Privacy and Compliance Officer, you will be part of the Intrigriti privacy team and are responsible for Intigriti’s privacy program and compliance, including but not limited to the implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures, ensuring effective compliance within the organization, and providing training and guidance internal stakeholders.

We are looking for a driven Privacy Officer who will serve as a data protection specialist and oversee our compliance with ethics and sustainability standards, leading and guiding internal and external stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing
Privacy

  • Develop and implement Intigriti’s privacy strategy, by creating policies and procedures for the effective and compliant handling of personal data.
  • Instruct, train and assist internal stakeholders in the effective implementation of data protection principles, serve as data protection SPOC to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work alongside the security department, to ensure the effective handling and reporting of incidents, in accordance with applicable cybersecurity and data protection laws; including risk assessment, documentation and mitigation.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of applicable data protection and privacy laws and regulations, including but not limited to the GDPR and the UK GDPR; ensure knowledge sharing and training within the organization.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential privacy and compliance issues.
  • Handle investigations and audits related to privacy and compliance.
  • Ensure the effective handling of data subject rights, in particular those of our community of 70 000 ethical hackers.
  • Deep dive into privacy related questions, for example by providing advice on hiring strategy in relation to Schrems II, by conducting DPIA’s and by instructing the product department on compliant development processes and services models.

Compliance

  • Develop and implement ethics and sustainability initiatives throughout our organisation and supply chain.
  • Create awareness and train stakeholders on ethics and compliance processes relevant to their department.
  • Maintain the overview of cross-department policies and procedures, working together with department leaders, to ensure redundancies are removed and policies kept up to date.
  • Help stakeholders translate policies into clear action points.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for questions and enquiries regarding ethics, sustainability and codes of conduct.
What you’ll bring
  • + 4 years of experience in data protection compliance and/ or as Data Protection Officer.
  • Expert level knowledge and experience with data protection laws including but not limited to the GDPR.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, the ability to lead and guide internal stakeholders.
  • A high level of integrity and strong willingness to do the right thing.
  • A pragmatic approach and ability to translate complex compliance concepts into comprehensive and feasible action points.
  • Adequate understanding of ICT terminology – experience in SaaS is considered an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s or Masters degree. A law degree is considered a plus.
  • DPO certification is considered a plus.
