Senior Full Stack Engineer @ Daltix in Antwerpen

About the role

We are looking for a senior full stack engineer to build (web) applications which help Daltix & our customers to get value out of the data we collect. We are talking about millions products being scraped from >80 different websites spread across > 5 countries.

These applications will also be used for use cases such as training & validating machine learning models.

In other words, you will be part of a team which productises our data.

Responsibilities

• Design, build & maintain our customer-facing web applications through which customers can access and manipulate their data.

• Design, build & maintain internal applications that help us train & validate machine learning models.

• Rather than being given exact specifications/tasks, you’ll get to collaborate with our product team to understand the needs of our customers and build relevant data products for them.

• In order to help us build the future of data you will explore new technologies, spike solutions & help us improve our current stack & code.

You will be reporting to the CTO.

• At least 5 years of relevant software engineering experience, ideally having worked on data products.

• You are customer focussed and care about delivering software that brings value to our customers.

• You write & speak fluent English as you’ll work in an international team.

• You’re able to manage your time & work.

• You should be comfortable with Node, React & Git as our current stack is built around them.

• You’re able to wrangle/manipulate data either in Python or SQL.

• You are able to work both on the front- & backend.

• Ideally, you’ve worked on K8S & AWS before.
