Sr Data Scientist – Healthcare @ Robovision in Zwijnaarde

Robovision is a rapidly growing company at the forefront of AI development in Europe and beyond. For our healthcare departement we’re developing state of the art AI algorithms that will improve the outcomes and standard of care in hospitals.

For this activity, we are looking for a Data Scientist who can be in charge of a key project from start to end. Working closely with our medical partners, you will understand their needs and requirements, and push them to deliver the right data so you can build a world-class AI algorithm that helps their workflow and enables them to deliver better patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Together with business development you can understand the technical complexities of an exciting new project, and estimate the efforts and timelines.

• Once the project is starting, you’ll be the key person to lead a customer project, understanding their needs and delivering an algorithm that improves their workflow.

• Working with the quality engineer, you can make sure that the development is in line with the required regulatory guidelines.

• You take pride in your work and know that what you deliver will impact the lives of healthcare professionals and patients.

Requirements

• Data science has little secrets for you. You know, via education and / or experience, what it takes to create great AI, and fight till you get the best out of the available data.

• You dream in Python and like the challenge of getting it right, well architectured and well documented.

• Even though you’re a code warrior you’re not afraid to engage with expert medical scientists who will challenge you to solve medical problems.

• Containerization is the way to deploy your code

Nice to haves

• You speak and write fluently in English as it makes it easy to talk to international medical specialists.

• You have an interest in the latest AI news through various channels.

• Experience in ISO regulated quality environments, ideally in a medical device context such as ISE 62304 or ISO 13485 would help you.

• You’ve worked with UX people and know how to link your code to front-end designs.

• The idea of working in healthcare and improving the lives of medical specialists and patients motivates you.
