Our technology therefore facilitates the redirection of funds towards sustainable activities, speeding up the transition to a low carbon economy in line with the EU Green Deal.

In order to sustain our rapid growth, we are looking for an exceptional Sustainability Intern to join our team.

How you will make an impact

You will be part of our Sustainability Team to fulfill our mission of enabling companies and financial institutions to accelerate, strengthen and report their sustainability impact according to key sustainable finance regulations. This is a great opportunity to apply your education and skills in a dynamic startup environment linked to sustainability.

What you will learn

• Gain knowledge about national & international Sustainable Finance legislation and regulations
• Learn key concepts, challenges and solutions of Sustainable Finance
• Support our customers to realise their sustainability goals and ambitions in their journey to become net zero
• Gain experience and exposure to Fintech/Regtech SaaS environment

What we expect from you

• Conduct research and analysis related to sustainability
• Synthesize complex regulatory information into insights and recommendations
• Support the team with the development of sustainability learning tools and education hub
• Support the carbon footprint reporting & strategy of our company
• Liaising with our key stakeholders on sustainability initiatives and developments
• Coordinate with internal teams on the integration of sustainable finance requirements
• To feel comfortable with the rapidly changing dynamics of a start-up environment

What we are looking for

• Undergraduate or postgraduate currently studying or recently completed a Bachelor or Master’s degree in a related discipline (i.e., Sustainable Finance, Environmental Science, Compliance or ESG)
• Manage own time and workload effectively and meet individual and team objectives
• Fluency in English, French and/or Dutch
• Analytical, autonomous, self-starter with strong communication and organisational skills
• Tech-savvy, solid computer and technical skills (G-suite, CRM, Apps)

This internship is limited to students who are following a study at a Belgian university or Belgium based residents studying abroad.
