Job Description
We are a new company hiring for our DevRel Engineer who’s responsible for building and maintaining relationships with developers and the developer community. You will work closely together with our marketing, product & dev team – to make sure you deeply understand the tech & product. Then, you’ll use that knowledge to educate, engage with, and support dev communities – and raise awareness of Aikido. You’ll be networking, creating content & organising events. We’re at the forefront of an accessible Software Security industry, and so the work you do will be seen and felt by a huge number of people. Your work could be critical in defining the experience of online security.
Main responsibilities:

Maintaining relationships with the developer community & help to develop the community. Taking community feedback & sharing it with the company.

Creating content in the form of blogs, documentation, newsletters, videos, webinars, etc…)

Organising events (online & offline) to bring the developer community together
- Increase Aikido’s visibility throughout online forums & channels ( E.g. Reddit, Stack Overflow, Discord, daily.dev,…
Qualifications
This is you:

You have a technical understanding of development in general & are able to understand our technology & products. You should be able to discuss this on a technical level with customers.

You have great writing skills & are experienced in writing blogs, articles, tutorials, docs, how to guides etc…

You’re a good communicator & love to network & build relationships with developers.

As a DevRel Engineer, you’ll have to work on multiple projects at the same time. so you’ll need a basis in time & project management.

You’re creative & love to brainstorm on original ideas on how to engage with the developer community.

You are really comfortable in a very entrepreneurial environment

Plus: experience with Security, DevOps or SecOps tools

Fluent in English

We have a work-from-anywhere policy but If you need to get on the payroll, you need to be eligible to be on a Belgian payroll (and you need to actively reside somewhere in Belgium) OR you act as a freelancer, have the ability to invoice, and work from wherever you see fit.
