To support its growth, Skipr is looking for an Administrative and financial officer. This person will be responsible for the execution of the administrative and financial tasks of the day to day in compliance with the rules and procedures. This person will work closely with the CFO, an external accounting team, and the HR manager. He will report to the Head of FIN & HR.

Main tasks of the Administrative & financial officer

Administrative tasks

  • Follow up on trade receivables by email

  • Issue manual credit notes

  • Managing supplier invoices and having some signed

  • Control Skipr team mobility expenses and approve them

  • Prepare monthly actuals P&L for the managers

  • Prepare monthly accruals

  • Follow-up on monthly recurring revenue in France and in Belgium

  • Prepare ad-hoc invoices each month (a dozen)

Financial tasks

  • Assist in the preparation of the budget and monitor actuals vs forecast, assist with KPI setting, monitoring, and follow up with Managers

  • Follow-up on accounting with the external accountant and verify accuracy, support month-end closing activities, improve reconciliation processes and accuracy, make sure accounting procedures comply with Belgian Gaap

  • Leading the preparation of the annual audit, assisting in investor reporting, provide clients with detailed reporting

Transversal projects

  • Assisting the CFO on ad-hoc projects as needed: corporate finance projects, pricing and margin analysis, financial business case modeling…

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Accounting, Finance or Business

  • Minimum 1 year experience in the same function.

  • Fluent in English. French and/or Dutch are a plus

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Detailed oriented and resourceful

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and Google Suite
