About the Role 
We are a fast-growing scale-up revolutionising the food-tech sector by helping restaurant owners to choose their 3rd party delivery providers and take control of their own delivery experience. The team consists of 5 Developers, UI/UX Designer, and a PM and now we are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our team working on Greenfield projects..

A Typical Day:

    • Building API integrations for leading national and global delivery partners
    • Work on complex algorithms to help restaurants optimise their operations and food offering
    • Structuring procedures as asynchronous tasks using queues to create performant and scalable solutions.
    • Help to choose new technologies and frameworks to tackle problems
    • You might even be in touch with customers directly, as you are keen to hear what you can improve

What we are looking for:

    • Experienced in Python and working in larger Python code bases
    • At least 2 years+ commercial coding
    • Experience with building Web/REST APIs
    • You write clean, maintainable, type annotated, test covered code
    • We don’t tell you what to do, you are the expert and you welcome giving and receiving feedback
    • You enjoy collaborating with a team
