Location: Brussels (Hybrid way of working – 2 days per week in the office)

You know your GAAP from your IFRS but your boss isn’t going anywhere soon.

You’ll join us as our Chief Accountant.

You’ll manage 2 of our accountants; Carmen and Yvan, great colleagues, hardworking and they go the extra mile for the business, making your job that bit easier.

You’ll get to be responsible for a diverse range of essential accounting areas in our business, giving you real variety in your job.

Deep Dive:

· You’ll be in charge of full accounting activities of our 5 entities (BE, DE, SWE x2, NL) and 3 branches

· Month-end and annual closing will be key activity areas for you

· You’ll be responsible for the external audit of all Mobilexpense entities

· You’ll oversee payments, treasury management and accounts payable

· You’ll follow up on out VAT declaration and income taxes

· You’ll manage our accounting team

· Managing external accounting firms (VAT, annual reports, income tax, …)

About you:

· You’ve been working at a senior accounting level for a few years and you’re ready for the next step

· You’ll have excellent knowledge of IAS/IFRS and Belgian GAAP

· Your accounting techniques are on point with Local Gaap, statutory consolidation, payroll experience

· You’ll already have managed a small team or you’re keen to do so

· You work with structure

· Good knowledge of the fiscal regulations in Belgium

· You’ll have Intimate knowledge of accounting tools; we use ExactOnline, if you don’t have knowledge of this, we’ll train you!

· You’re fluent in English, FR/NL is a plus

· Good analytical and synthesizing skills

· You’re able to deal with the stress that month-end and closing the year can bring
