Your mission

We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced Financial Controller to join our team in Belgium. You will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Although Intigriti is an international company and most of your time will be spent on overseeing the finance workstreams in our Belgian parent entity, you will also gain exposure to the UK entities during our monthly consolidation processes.

The ideal candidate has an in-depth understanding of the Belgian financial and accounting regulations to contribute to the efficiency of our finance department. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be doing
  • Manage and oversee all financial and accounting operations of Intigriti, using Yuki in Belgium and Xero in the UK.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and annual audits in Belgium.
  • Coach and manage junior members of the team.
  • Support the Head of Finance with strategic projects.
  • Develop and map out internal business processes and accounting policies to strengthen our workflows.
  • Be the central point of contact service providers in the UK, internal departments, and banks with regard to treasury and cash management.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement by gathering and structuring our financial data.
What you’ll bring
  • You are a qualified Belgian accountant with thorough knowledge of Belgian accounting principles and procedures.
  • You already have 3 – 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • You speak fluent Dutch and have a strong knowledge of English.
  • You keep your knowledge up to date on Belgian GAAP and changes in the regulatory environment.
  • You are a driven self-starter, strong critical thinker & communicator with the ability to create meaningful & insightful reporting.
