Reason for the role
As the Frontend Developer for the growth marketing team, you will be responsible for our marketing website. 
Our website is one of our most crucial growth drivers and you will work with the team to translate designs to usable components. Working with the Global Website Lead you will be tasked with creating new and interactive UI components as well as improving existing ones.  
How will you contribute to our mission
As the Frontend Developer you will use your knowledge of React, Gatsby and Contentful to improve our marketing website and create great user experience. 

Tasks and responsibilities

    • Building new components for the website by writing clean and reusable code
    • Maintaining and improving existing components
    • Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency
    • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs 
    • Optimize the website for speed and scalability
    • Help to choose new technologies and frameworks to tackle problems

Job requirements

    • You have at least 2 years+ relevant experience, including 2 years+ developing in React or other frameworks (Vue, Angular)
    • You have experience with Javascript (ES6) and TypeScript
    • You have experience with Gatsby or a similar static site generator
    • You have experience with Contentful or a similar CMS 
    • You have experience translating mockups to functional components

What we count as a plus

    • You have knowledge of page speed optimization
    • You have an understanding of technical SEO
    • You have an interest in UX/UI and understand what great user experience looks like
