Your Impact
As a Platform Engineer on the Developer Platform team, you’re the architect behind the curtain, empowering Deliverect’s growth and technological evolution. Your expertise in building and maintaining robust, scalable internal services directly contributes to our ability to innovate and deliver features rapidly and safely. Through your work, you enable our Product teams to focus on creating solutions that enhance our customers’ experiences, making an indispensable impact on Deliverect’s mission to revolutionize the food delivery industry.

A Typical Day

    • Developing and Optimizing Tools: Crafting and refining the suite of internal tools and platforms that accelerates development workflows.
    • Automation: Implementing automation solutions for repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency and reliability across teams.
    • Collaboration: Working closely with the Product and DevOps teams to identify and bridge technical gaps.
    • Problem-Solving: Tackling daily challenges with innovative solutions, ensuring the stability and scalability of our internal services.
    • Continuous Improvement: Proactively seeking feedback and iterating on the developer platform to better serve the needs of the tea

Your Expertise

    • SaaS Knowledge: Deep understanding of SaaS product dynamics, particularly in a scale-up environment.
    • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in web and CLI application development using Python, Golang, or Rust; experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent; and familiarity with public cloud services.
    • Systems Design: Ability to conceptualize and implement systems that enhance inter-service interactions and overall architecture.
    • Problem-Solving Skills: A knack for quickly diagnosing and resolving technical issues, ensuring seamless operations.
    • Innovation and Efficiency: A “lazy engineer” mindset that drives you to automate effectively and innovate constantly.
    • Collaboration and Learning: Openness to giving and receiving feedback, with a continuous desire to learn and share knowledge.
