Qargo Introduction
Qargo is a tech start-up based in London and Ghent (Belgium) and we’re on a mission to transform the logistics industry by making it more efficient, profitable and sustainable. We are building the most user friendly and intuitive Transport Management System on the market that automates administrative processes and optimizes planning. To achieve our mission we’re looking for a Product Manager!
In this role, you’ll…
✅ Report directly to the CEO and you’ll own the roadmap of our Transport Management System. You’re responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle.
✅ Together with the CEO you’ll define the scope and future of our product and you’ll make sure that it meets the highest UX standards at all time.
✅ Be in close contact with our customers to understand their existing workflows, their frustrations (eg. where they lose time) and their needs and where Qargo can contribute and optimize. (Note that we currently target smaller transport providers and want to go upmarket, so it will be important that you help identify the right product priorities and work towards easy to understand solutions.)
✅ Work closely with the other departments at Qargo like engineering, sales and customer success/support. You’ll travel to Ghent on a regular basis.
Your Profile
✅ Product management experience with a UX background: you care about building user friendly solutions that solve customer problems without requiring training.
✅ Prioritization: you can balance large and small scale initiatives against the day to day maintenance and bug fixes.
✅ Communication: you’re able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences alike, you are humble when sharing ideas with everyone on the team.
✅ Customer obsessed: our customers are non-technical and they don’t have time for training and reading manuals. They want a user-friendly solution that can support complex planning scenarios in an intuitive way.
✅ Attention to detail: you are inquisitive and want to dive deep into any problem and understand the underlying mechanics.
✅ Impact focus: you have a strong desire to see your work result in changes across our company, leading to significant business impact.
