Technical Evangelist – Security and Compliance @ Lansweeper in Merelbeke, Belgium

With a recent funding round from Insight Partners and impressive yearly revenue growth, Lansweeper is rapidly expanding our Global team. We are looking for a Technical Evangelist to come into a newly established team that will be the catalyst for communication about the product with a keen focus on value across a variety of use cases. 

Your primary responsibility will be creating captivating security-related content that resonates with a wide range of stakeholders. You will craft engaging materials for our customers, partners, and internal departments. By leveraging your expertise, you will effectively communicate the unique value and security benefits of our products.

In addition to content creation, you will serve as an invaluable internal subject matter expert. Your insights and knowledge will be instrumental in supporting various departments within the organization. Specifically, you will provide valuable feedback on potential product features and enhancements, contributing to the continuous improvement and innovation of our offerings.

Collaboration and cross-functional work will be key aspects of your role. Working closely with other teams, you will help shape marketing campaigns, facilitate product launches, and enable the sales team to effectively position and promote our platform to diverse target audiences. By becoming the voice of the customer internally, you will ensure that our messaging and initiatives align with their needs and expectations.

How you’ll ramp:

By day 30…

• Familiarize yourself with the organizational structure, teams, and their respective content requirements to effectively engage their target audiences.
• Gain knowledge of Lansweeper’s product portfolio and capabilities to effectively position them in security-related content.
• Identify existing gaps in our content offerings, with a particular focus on security-related materials.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance and optimize existing security content.

Day 60…

• Acquire expert-level understanding of Lansweeper’s offerings, becoming a trusted authority on our products and services.
• Work closely with marketing, sales, partner, and customer service teams to identify areas where security-related content is lacking and develop a comprehensive content roadmap.
• Lead the production of compelling security-related content in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Provide valuable feedback and consultation to internal departments, leveraging your IT security background to inform product features, vision, and security-related topics.

Day 90…

• Demonstrate full integration into the company, assuming a lead role in driving security-related content initiatives across the organization.
• Play a pivotal part in content planning for future quarters, strategically addressing content gaps based on audience segmentation, buyer journeys, and other key considerations.
• Engage in company-wide feedback processes, leveraging your expertise to provide insights and guidance on security-related matters.

What you’ve accomplished… so far:

• Substantial professional background in IT security-related roles, highlighting your comprehensive knowledge of security principles, practices, and challenges.
• Proficiency in effectively conveying complex security-related topics and ideas to a wide range of target audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Extensive hands-on experience with diverse security-related IT tools, underscoring your ability to navigate and harness advanced technologies for enhanced security measures.
• Demonstrated success in providing valuable guidance and support to security personnel.
