To support its growth, Skipr is looking for a senior technology lead to lead a team (frontend and backend) of 4-5 people and ensure the development of the state of the art Skipr technical solution. This person will work closely with the product and customer success team. He will report to the CTO.

Main tasks of the Technology lead

  • Managing 1-2 squad(s)

  • Lead all day to day tasks and assure right triage and prioritization of work, following business and vision requirements.

  • Coaching and developing the squad members (technical and behavioral skills)

  • Ensure build and feature improvements in collaboration with Product Managers

  • Promote best practices and technology evolution for quality and stability

Job requirements

Job requirements

  • Possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in team management

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering

  • Technical competencies: PSP integration (Stripe, Mollie, HiPay, …), Micro-services, Kubernetes, Event Sourcing, Identity Management (OIDC/oAuth2), Open Telemetry, ORM, Low level languages (C, C++, GO, …), OpenAPI specifications, REST, GRPC

  • Have strong development and system design skills

  • Have experience in collaboration with Product Teams

  • Ability to make the tradeoffs required to ship high-quality code while working within the constraints of a fast-growing company
