What you’ll be doing
Financial Strategy and Planning

Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and implement the financial strategy aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives.

Lead the annual budgeting process, providing accurate financial projections and ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives.

Conduct financial analysis to identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, and risk management.
Financial Reporting and Analysis

Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings in Belgium, UK and Singapore.

Oversee the annual audit in Belgium and in the UK.

Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing insights to the board and other key stakeholders.

Develop and maintain financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance and support decision-making.
Cash Flow Management

Manage cash flow, forecasting short-term and long-term cash requirements.

Implement effective cash flow management practices to optimize working capital and support growth initiatives.

Establish relationships with financial institutions and manage banking relationships.
Financial Operations and Controls

Establish and maintain robust financial controls, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Financial Risk Management

Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency fluctuations, credit risk, and market volatility.

Develop and maintain appropriate risk management policies and procedures.

Monitor and report on key financial risk indicators, providing recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
Team Leadership and Development

Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance department.

Promote knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration across the organization.
