About the role
Unbox is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to join our leadership team and drive our revenue growth to new heights. As the CRO you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company’s revenue strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing all revenue-generating functions, including sales, marketing, strategic partnerships and customer success, with a primary focus on maximizing customer acquisition, retention, and expansion. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of success in scaling revenue for SaaS B2B companies and will be a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the industry landscape.
What you’ll do
Revenue Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue strategy aligned with the company’s overall business objectives
- Collaborate with the executive team to set revenue targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Lead and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Implement effective sales processes, methodologies, and tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness
- Foster a high-performance culture based on meritocracy within the sales organization
- Lead and inspire the marketing team to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns that generate qualified leads and drive brand awareness
- Ensure alignment between sales and marketing efforts to optimize the customer acquisition funnel
Customer Success and Retention:
- Oversee customer success initiatives to ensure high customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion
- Develop strategies to upsell and cross-sell additional products/services to existing customers
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Leverage data analytics and insights to make informed decisions and continuously optimize revenue performance
- Implement and monitor key metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement
Partnerships and Alliances:
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships and alliances that contribute to revenue growth
- Negotiate and manage key partnerships to maximize mutual benefits
