To support its growth, Skipr is looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) located in Brussels. The Chief Technology Officer is responsible for aligning the Skipr technological vision, implementing technology strategies, and ensuring that the technological resources are aligned with Skipr’s and the customer’s needs. He is responsible to collaborate closely with the product team, and accordingly define tech priorities and roadmaps.

Main tasks of the Chief Technology Officer

• Advises the CEO on the achievability of the product roadmap and actively participates in the Management team decision-making processes

• Manage your team to execute against project plans and delivery commitment. Identify risks, define corrective mitigation actions and report to management

• Audit the SKIPR solution and the competitors to identify technological risks (obsolete or costly technologies) and technological opportunities (optimization of the information system or product improvement for example).

• Build quality assurance, oversee IT security and data protection processes

• Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance

• Design and clearly communicate the technological strategy to internal and external stakeholders

• Ensures a technological monitoring to identify new technologies and gauge their impact or potential

• Master in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field

• Minimum 5 years experience in the same position as CTO and member of a management committee in an tech company

• Showing evidence of success in the tech or start up industry

• Reference in building a SaaS product from early-stage through to scaling and maturity product

• Fluent in English and French and/or Dutch
