Your mission
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced finance professional to join the team at Intigriti as a Finance Consultant initially before seamlessly transitioning into the Interim Head of Finance role from the end of August as a maternity leave cover. The role is a fixed term contract, we are looking for someone who can start straight away until the end of May 2024.

You will play a crucial role in driving our financial success during the maternity leave of our current Head of Finance. As the Interim Head of Finance, you will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities within the organisation. Your primary objective will be to ensure the financial stability, integrity, and growth of the company. You will work closely with various stakeholders, providing strategic financial guidance aligning with the overall business strategy. What you’ll be doing
Financial Strategy and Planning

  • Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and implement the financial strategy aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives.

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, providing accurate financial projections and ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives.

  • Conduct financial analysis to identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, and risk management.

Financial Reporting and Analysis

  • Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings in Belgium, UK and Singapore.

  • Oversee the annual audit in Belgium and in the UK.

  • Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing insights to the board and other key stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance and support decision-making.

Cash Flow Management

  • Manage cash flow, forecasting short-term and long-term cash requirements.

  • Implement effective cash flow management practices to optimize working capital and support growth initiatives.

  • Establish relationships with financial institutions and manage banking relationships.

Financial Operations and Controls

  • Establish and maintain robust financial controls, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Financial Risk Management

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency fluctuations, credit risk, and market volatility.

  • Develop and maintain appropriate risk management policies and procedures.

  • Monitor and report on key financial risk indicators, providing recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance department.

  • Promote knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration across the organization.

What you’ll bring
  • A master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field and / or professional qualification (e.g., CIMA / ACCA).
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a senior finance role, ideally in a high-growth SAAS company or technology start-up environment.

  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

  • Proven experience presenting at a board level.

  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards (in particular the UK regulatory landscape)

  • Up-to-date knowledge on UK payroll rules and regulations

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial management software and tools.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Exceptional leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively managing and developing teams.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
