What you will do

As Operations Associate, you will leverage your skills and industry insight to scale OTIV’s customer operations across European countries and to make our customers successful. You will be our customers’ primary point of contact and responsible for building deep and successful customer relationships. As an early member of OTIV and the customer operations team, you will have the opportunity to shape the foundation of our organization and culture. If you love keeping management oversight of complex technical and operational challenges, managing different internal and external stakeholders, you will have the time of your life!


Tasks and responsibilities

  • Planning and executing various complex customer projects, aiming to deploy the OTIV assistance and autonomous solutions for Europe’s leading rail operators.

  • Guiding OTIV’s customers through all project phases from first demo over pilot project all the way to full deployment, in close collaboration with your Business Development colleagues.

  • Being at the crossroads of the technical team, the sales team and the client.

  • Leading cross-functional project teams (e.g., Operations, Product, Engineering and Business Development) including resource planning, creating and maintaining project plans, as well as identifying and mitigating project risks.

  • Managing of internal and external stakeholders as the first point of contact regarding your projects and customers.

  • Customer relationship building, key account management and communication, being responsible for customer success.

  • Feeding back market and customer requirement directly in the product development process.

  • Participating in high-level events and fairs as an ambassador for OTIV.


Who you are

  • Degree in business administration, (industrial) engineering, or similar

  • Experience in project and stakeholder management, ideally in an industrial, logistics, rail or autonomous driving environment.

  • Expertise in project management styles (agile, waterfall, etc.) and ability to bring them in practice.

  • Bringing empathy and a guiding hand when navigating various internal and client interests & perspectives.

  • Attentive and empathic communicator with an ability to build trust and long-lasting relationships.

  • Well-structured problem-solving approach and ability to navigate through complex and chaotic situations with a cool head.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

  • Fluent in English. Fluency in German and / or French is a strong plus.

  • Enthusiasm for cutting-edge technology.

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced start-up environment
