We are looking for a full-time People Ops Manager to join the People & Talent Team in our Ghent, Belgium office. The ideal candidate will be a self-reliant contributor who can work autonomously and proactively to ensure a smooth running People Ops function in Belgium and APAC region. 

They will act as the expert for HR operations, payroll & benefits queries & processes from employees and external partners in the regions and will have a passion for detecting gaps and improving processes. This role will also offer exposure to global People Operations and provide learning opportunities.  

Where you will have an impact:

  • Administrative & Payroll:
    • Work alongside the other People Ops Manager to process payroll for employees via our payroll platform  and handle all employees questions and administration 
    • Administer all EMEA/APAC employee benefit programs, including enrollments and terminations
    • Coordinate and conduct employees informative sessions regarding benefits for all EMEA/APAC employees
    • Together with the People Ops Manager (EMEA), plan and administer the annual Total Reward review.
    •  Coordinate the company’s fleet
  • Compliance: 
    • Be up to date with current laws and regulations and be proactive in communicating this to people and functional leaders. 
    • Contributes to People Ops compliance efforts by ensuring guidelines and policies are consistent and enforced in the areas of employment regulations.
  • Proactively identify new processes and/or services to streamline efficiencies and look to automation and improvement as we grow
  • Projects:
    • Participate in End of Year, Forecasting, M&A activities (if required) and other ad hoc projects
    • Recommend, design, and draft employee lifecycle policies and procedures that enhance and optimise existing HR practices

Who you are:

  • Bachelor in Human Resources or Accounting with minimum of 3 years equivalent experience in a similar function
  • Strong interest in processes improvement, D&I, social law and owns local health and safety knowledge
  • Strong communication and analytical skills combined with a proactive attitude 
  • Exceptional organisational and ninja-like multitasking skills; juggling deadlines and priorities while managing ambiguity and staying cool as a cucumber
  • An independent, autonomous and proactive hands-on approach to all tasks; willing to roll-up your sleeves to help anytime and to collaborate effectively
