Program Manager @ Lansweeper in Alicante, Spain

As Program Manager, you will provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers in ways that promote the company’s agile culture. You will also oversee the progress of engineering operations, third party vendors and license management, cloud and engineering costs. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. You are also able to develop efficient strategies and tactics. The goal is to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to our organization.

A day in the life of a Program Manager:

• You understand our product roadmap and milestones towards customers, product and marketing
• You collaborate with a great team of Project managers, Agile and Engineering leaders and Product Managers
• You are responsible together with other engineering leaders for defined project commitments, ensuring that project and product management are aligned with project statuses, risks and achievements.
• You coordinate license renewal cycles in a timely and effective manner with our third-party software and solution providers, ensuring budget is compliant
• You define budget goals and needs for all engineering costs, including cloud service providers, tools and software vendors.
• You ensure our costs are aligned to forecasted ones
• You formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects
• You decide on suitable strategies and objectives
• You coordinate cross-project activities
• You lead and evaluate project managers and other staff
• You develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities
• You apply change, risk and resource management
• You assume responsibility for the program’s people and vendors
• You assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI
• You resolve projects’ higher scope issues
• You prepare reports for program stakeholders

• Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position
• Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
• Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
• Working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, JIRA Roadmaps, A-ha, MS Project etc.)
• Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent problem-solving ability

I have a

• BSc/BA diploma in management or a relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
