As part of the Chiron Enterprise team at Yields.io, you will:

  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and pipelines to ensure the reliability, stability, and performance of the model risk management platform.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify test scenarios and create test cases, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
  • Execute both manual and automated tests, report and track defects, and work closely with the development team to investigate and resolve issues.
  • Participate in the design and review of software requirements, providing input from a quality assurance perspective.
  • Define and implement a quality assurance framework that encompasses both functional and non-functional testing, including performance, security, and scalability testing.
  • Monitor and analyze test results, identify trends, and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement of the application quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in QA automation, and proactively introduce new tools and methodologies to enhance the testing process.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and ensure adherence to established quality standards.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or a similar role in a software development environment.
  • Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C# for test automation scripting.
  • Experience with API testing, including validating API requests and responses.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker for creating consistent testing environments.
  • Hands-on experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
  • Experience in defining and implementing quality assurance frameworks, including both functional and non-functional testing.
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You must be self-motivated and able to work independently, manage your time and priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Knowledge of model risk management or financial services domain is a plus.
