Aikido Security is building a developer-centric security product for cloud companies. The focus is on application security testing and vulnerability scanning.

We’re looking to fill a gap in the current landscape, by offering a product that combines insights from both your code, dependencies & cloud, resulting in a set of unique and high-value security features. We’re going to package this in an easy-to-use product that is helpful as well as educational.

We are a fast growing company hiring for a Technical Copywriter with (application) security expertise. You will work closely together with our marketing, product & dev team – to make sure you deeply understand the tech & product. Then, you’ll use that knowledge to write valuable content for our users. (Blogs, guides, tutorials, articles,…)

Our mission is to simplify software security for busy developers. In that sense, we’re at the forefront of an “accessible” Application Software Security industry, and so the work you do will be seen and felt by a huge number of people. Your work could be critical in defining the experience of online security.

Optionally, the role can be made broader with other DevRel aspects. Think of networking, creating video content & organising events, community management,…

Main responsibilities:

• Help our users to be self-sufficient by writing intuitive tutorials, guides and reference.

• Maintain the information architecture of our docs – take the user’s journy into account to be there when the need it.

• Creating content to make complex security topics simple in the form of blogs (Think security checklists, explainers,…)

• Research & propose which documentation areas or topics we need to provide content for

This is you:

• You have a technical understanding of development in general & are able to understand our technology & products. You should be able to discuss this on a technical level with customers. Bonus: Have an understanding of Application Security.

• You have great writing skills & are experienced in writing blogs, articles, tutorials, docs, how to guides etc…

• You’re a good communicator.

• You are really comfortable in a very entrepreneurial environment

• Plus: experience with (Application) Security, DevOps or SecOps tools

• Fluent in English – Native level

Legal-wise:

• We have a work-from-anywhere policy but If you need to get on the payroll, you need to be eligible to be on a Belgian payroll (and you need to actively reside somewhere in Belgium) OR you act as a freelancer, have the ability to invoice, and work from wherever you see fit.
