Your Impact
As a Data Scientist specialising in SaaS Technology, your mission is to significantly contribute to the continuous improvement and optimisation of our Software as a Service (SaaS) product. Armed with advanced expertise in data analysis, experimentation, and machine learning, your impact will be instrumental in driving data-driven decisions to enhance the overall performance of our product. In the dynamic landscape of SaaS, your role extends beyond analytics – you’re a strategic force propelling innovation and excellence within the department and the organisation.

A Typical Day

    • Data Analysis and Exploration: Utilise advanced analytics techniques to analyse large datasets, extract meaningful insights, and identify areas for improvement within the SaaS product. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain a deep understanding of product performance and user behaviour.
    • Experimentation and A/B Testing:Design and execute experiments, including A/B testing, to evaluate and validate potential enhancements or changes to the product. Analyse experiment results, derive actionable insights, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement improvements.
    • Model Development and Deployment:Develop machine learning models to address specific business challenges and optimise product features. Collaborate with software developers to deploy models into the production environment and ensure seamless integration.
    • Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align data-driven initiatives with business goals. Communicate findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Continuous Learning and Innovation:Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in data science and machine learning. Proactively explore new methodologies and technologies that can contribute to the improvement of our product. Ability to help the team quickly adopt AI technologies

Your Expertise

    • Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in data analysis, experimentation, and machine learning.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
    • Experience with data visualisation tools and databases.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
