To strengthen our Growth Marketing team and expand our footprint in the French & German market, we are looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to work on the French & German Market. You’ll be reporting to the Head of Growth Marketing and based out of our corporate headquarters in Ghent (BE) or our office in Amsterdam (NL). 

As our Growth Marketing Manager for France & Germany, you’re responsible to translate our company strategy into concrete actions that drive results in both countries for both of our product lines: Teamleader Focus and Teamleader Orbit. The primary goal of this position are to increase awareness, expand/convert interest, and build pipeline. You will work closely with the sales and marketing team to execute demand-generation programs. It’s a broad job, but you can rely on a team of talented peers to support you in planning and delivering your marketing mix across different channels. You will be the main point of contact for all things French & German marketing, and function in close collaboration with our Dutch and Belgian Growth Marketing Managers.

Role responsibilities:

  • You’ll localize the company’s marketing strategy to a local plan for France & Germany together with business stakeholders, and turn that into a concrete actions.

  • As a key member of our Growth Team, you will own our growth targets for the French & German market

  • Overseeing the marketing mix for both countries, you will take up ownership when needed or manage in-house or agency experts.

  • You are in charge of the local distribution for the French & German market. This includes:
    • Making sure the website and blog are in line with the strategy and look perfect. You can rely on copywriters, but you might need to do the final check to make sure everything’s looking great.

    • Localising content created by Brand Studio: you’ll be the final gatekeeper for all the content being distributed in the French & German market. This includes blogs, email, social media, campaigns, whitepapers, … We expect you to give input as well as do the final review.

    • Make agreements with local mediapartners, function as their SPOC and follow up on all agreements and execution.

    • Owning the social media calendar for France & Germany. You make sure all the content is provided in time and create the posts on the different social platforms.

    • Providing local input and feedback (e.g. coming from sales) to the HQ marketing teams in order for the right content to be created.

    • Occasionaly, we might organise events in France & Germany (attend fairs, organise small events with partners, do a webinar, …). In those cases you will help our event manager to organise with execution, coordination and communication.

  • You’ll support the Belgian Growth Marketing Manager with the marketing mix for the Walloon market. This might include things like checking content, updating Walloon channels and follow up with Walloon marketing partners.

  • Together with the data team you optimize the performance of local channels, and how the budget is being spent.

  • You report back to business stakeholders on the performance of the local market (including forecast, lead quality based on both qualitative and quantitative data.)

Requirements


You’d be a great fit for this role, if you…

  • Have 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in B2B

  • Have a in-depth understanding of the French & German Market.

  • Have a first experience overseeing a full marketing mix, including resource planning, stakeholder management and reporting;

  • Are flexible and happy in working across teams, tasks and skill sets; able to jump from business to creative, from virtual to offline, from revenue source analysis to new feature release plan.

  • Are used to operating common marketing technology systems, e.g. Hubspot, Jira, Social Media, …

  • Bring strategy to execution</strong>; enthusiastic about developing the plan, and doing the work to drive results. You are hands-on and understand that value is created in driving execution and outcomes.

  • Have great communication skills; able to articulate product and solution information in the context of customer problems and business values.

  • Have strong project management skills and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

  • You’re able to communicate fluently in English, French & German.
