Hi there! We are Cheqroom, but will talk about us later…today is all about you! We’re opening a new position for an Account Executive to join our team!

As an Account Executive at Cheqroom, you will be part of a fast-paced sales team where an entrepreneurial mindset is a must and is continuously encouraged. We are looking for someone who is confident in both prospecting and demoing to future customers to helping design our sales strategy. You have to be a fast-learner, tech-savvy, forward-thinking, solutions-driven, professional and tenacious. We are still carving out the way we work, so you will also need to be a strong team player and most importantly – a builder. What will you be doing?

  • Listen to the customer’s short and long-term needs and align them with the company’s growth strategy.
  • Generate and close business throughout your territory to achieve revenue targets
  • Follow-up on and manage qualified leads by phone and email in a fast-paced environment
  • Lead one-on-one screen-sharing presentations/demos as required;
  • Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge
  • Launch and test new outbound lead generation channels and determine how best to scale them
  • Set OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
  • Become a product expert and feel comfortable demoing and closing
  • Work with management on pricing negotiations;
  • Review contracts with legal team
  • Achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas;
  • Work with Sales Development Representatives to coordinate appointments and optimal scheduling;
  • Effectively lead prospects through a defined sales process;
  • Collaborate closely with your manager, your colleagues and the Customer Success department in assisting our clients to grow the business
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Technology departments to execute the aligned strategy (e.g. launching campaigns,…).

Job requirements

Are you the one?

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role,
  • Solid understanding of SaaS processes and SaaS demoing,
  • Comfortable with fast sales cycle (< 90 Days) and size deals between 3k to 15k,
  • Proven use of a sales methodology,
  • Located in NYC metro area,
  • You are a true salesperson! Positive, up for a challenge and a real go-getter,
  • Enthusiastic personality and Entrepreneurship: Relentless in going after new sales opportunities and enthusing customers about Cheqroom and what it can do for them. Creating pipeline does not scare you,
  • Self-starter and mature, able to drive strategic sales processes end-to-end.
