Your mission
Strong from a first experience in the Power and Gas industry (trading, optimization or else recommended), you will be working alongside a team to build new data and software solutions for the power and gas trading market and energy transition in general. Designing solutions to improve the day to day tasks and life of the traders and analysts and other personae so as to help them make decisions faster while having a positive impact on the sustainability of the market.
 
This is a unique opportunity to solve the problems you have been facing as a power trader/analyst for years and help the market transition to greener solutions by having a better understanding of the data at hand.

Your responsibilities will include:

    • End-to-end responsibility for key features of the product
    • Craft a multi-sprint/quarterly vision for features
    • Understand technical systems and their implications
    • Ship small-sized projects with measurable success
    • Manage collaboration with other teams and detect early collisions
    • Understand and respect cultural and diverse values
    • Contribute to the company beyond immediate responsibilities
    • Stay current with industry trends and incorporate them into product features

Preferred experience

    • You have at least 2-3 years experience as an analyst in a power or gas company (mandatory).
    • You have a self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit
    • You have the ability to solve complex problems and multitasking
    • You have experience in building analytical models for the power markets (e.g. supply and demand, pricing, risk management etc…)
    • You have an excellent analytical ability, at ease with working with databases, ability to highlight trends and use complex data to support decisions
    • Being proficient in Excel and VBA; SQL, python, statistical modelling, other programming would be an advantage
    • You are a true and kind team player, quick learner, and able to work with short deadlines across different tasks
    • You are a great communicator and team player
