Futureproofed is a carbon accounting start-up that is on a mission to help cities & businesses reduce their carbon emissions and become more sustainable. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing go-to-market team.

Job description

As an SDR at Futureproofed, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying and reaching out to potential clients. You will be the first point of contact for many of our potential B2B-customers, and you will play a crucial role in building relationships, driving sales and helping organisations to reap the benefits of a net-zero journey. You’ll be speaking with sustainability officers & CFOs in the mid-segment & corporate market on a daily basis.

Your responsibilities

  • You’ll collaborate with our growth marketing team to set up tailored ABM-campaigns & source relevant target accounts.
  • You’ll help with building our pipeline and our carbon accounting platform, through multiple touchpoints with customers remotely. You will efficiently move leads through our sales funnel.
  • You’ll identify the sustainability objectives of your prospects and qualify their carbon accounting needs during short discovery calls.
  • You will work closely together with our account executives & carbon experts as you will schedule product demonstrations for them.
  • You’ll maintain accurate records and track progress in our CRM-system.

Who you are:

  • Perfect command of English and Dutch, both verbal as well as written. French is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • At least one year of experience in B2B technology sales or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable making calls & sending emails to potential clients.
  • You speak fluent Dutch and English. Douze points extra for French.
  • Proactive, persistent, and with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • A background in sustainability or carbon accounting is a plus, but not required. However, you are passionate about sustainability and are looking for an opportunity to make a positive impact in the world.
