About the role
We are looking for a tech writer, short for technical writer, a professional who specializes in creating written content that communicates technical and complex information in a clear and understandable manner. You would play a crucial role in translating intricate technical concepts, instructions, and documentation into user-friendly materials. Your work is not limited to traditional documentation; it can include a range of content types such as manuals, guides, online help, tutorials, FAQs, and more. The primary goals is to ensure that users, whether they are end-users, developers, or other stakeholders, can easily comprehend and apply technical information.
Your would build the bridge for between internal and external developer teams.
What you’ll do
  • Documenting Processes: Describing technical processes, procedures, and workflows in a way that is accessible to the target audience
  • Creating Manuals and Guides: Developing comprehensive manuals, guides, and reference documents that assist users in understanding and utilizing products, software, or services
  • API Documentation: Writing documentation for application programming interfaces (APIs) to help developers understand how to interact with and integrate software components – by using internal Api documentation
  • Training Materials: Developing training materials, including tutorials and training guides, to facilitate the learning process for users
  • Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): Working closely with technical experts and developers to gather information and ensure accuracy in technical documentation
  • Editing and Reviewing: Reviewing and editing technical content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guides
  • Knowledge of Tools: Proficiency in using documentation tools, version control systems, and other software to manage and publish technical content effectively
  • Audience Analysis: Understanding the needs and knowledge levels of the target audience to tailor documentation accordingly
  • Staying Updated: Keeping up to date with industry trends, product updates, and technological advancements to produce relevant and timely documentation
